My biomechanics drastically changed in my first pregnancy, and after stubbornly resisting, I finally had to ditch the shoe model that had been my stand-by for years. It's not a bad way to stay fit when running on the ground isn't as comfortable. And be assured that it'll all come back faster than you'd think.
