I would highly recommend a book called "chirunning".

You're like a pregnant super woman! I ran 20 miles last week and was really chuffed with myself.

Re the comment on my blog. No my belly button hasn't popped yet. It's the drawstring on my trousers that's sticking out :-) Lol.Debs M-Chttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04710598450672711518noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5469780206027563404.post-34654112634652930542008-10-14T01:36:00.000-04:002008-10-14T01:36:00.000-04:00did you see jennifer burgett's race report? there ...did you see jennifer burgett's race report? there was a 7 months prego lady at her half (or full?) marathon!

http://mydesiretobethin.blogspot.com/2008/10/evansville-half-marathon-race-report.html

with a sign that said "baby on board"! :-)Juliannehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14795598528475684390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5469780206027563404.post-60431051142746533222008-10-13T21:35:00.000-04:002008-10-13T21:35:00.000-04:00Shin splints? I think mine were due to too many hard training days and especially since I want to up those miles a little bit.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15829491907261980920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5469780206027563404.post-76410961896802198832008-10-13T20:19:00.000-04:002008-10-13T20:19:00.000-04:00Just came across your blog... from someone else......Just came across your blog... from someone else... When I was pregnant, it never occurred to me to run. Guess that's why I gained 65 lbs with BOTH my kids. LOL

It's ok to slow down. You're body is changing, for the good. Wow, before you know it the lil' bambino will be here. BTW, congrats!!!

Also, I am way impressed with your Math blogs. Wow, I'm old (well, not really:). When I went to school, even through college, there was no internet (well, there was, but just not open to the public yet). Actually by the end of college they had it, but I am SO blown away by the fact that kids can sign on online and get an assignment, or grades for that matter. Amazing how things have changed!LIrunner9https://www.blogger.com/profile/14473464766700712187noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5469780206027563404.post-74620103186635582312008-10-13T12:52:00.000-04:002008-10-13T12:52:00.000-04:00you are still doing AMAZING for slowing it down!!!...you are still doing AMAZING for slowing it down!!!Aronhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17418163097675963683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5469780206027563404.post-27728987456408063672008-10-13T09:15:00.000-04:002008-10-13T09:15:00.000-04:00You're still so busy for being slow. It seems like it may be trying to tell you something, like "You can still be a rockstar and run without doing it in a marathon."

However, signing up for the full and doing the half doesn't sound like a bad idea. Although something tells me you would pass that half-marathon point and keep going. ;)Laurelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08623841732966475396noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5469780206027563404.post-72472984334584375882008-10-13T08:19:00.000-04:002008-10-13T08:19:00.000-04:00For a slower week, you still packed in a lot of ac...For a slower week, you still packed in a lot of activity. Maybe your body will handle it better, but I made the switch to water running and elliptical in the hopes of maintaining some sanity and fitness through the last 1/2 of pregnancy. With any luck I'll have this baby soon (like *today* would be fine) and then start back up running... I'll be able to tell you how the water running maintains fitness applicable to road running. My legs still feel strong to me and I know cardiovascularly I'm fine, but the legs haven't endured any pounding so we'll have to see how it goes. I'm gonna go for it as soon as I'm able after D-Day!!Michelle Simmonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10301323188060167291noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5469780206027563404.post-51592939371769560262008-10-12T20:49:00.000-04:002008-10-12T20:49:00.000-04:00There is nothing wrong with slowing down every now...There is nothing wrong with slowing down every now and then.
