Sweat your A** off and some music

That is what I want to do!! I'm dying to have a really hard workout and feel the sweat dripping off me. Soon! I want Kara Goucher's body too.

Today's workout was this lame jog at the gym. At the gym no one stares but I started to feel like a freakshow today. Besides having to stop to RUN to the bathroom every 15 minutes or less, and taking off and putting on stupid support belt, I think that I feel better running at home, where the bathroom is right in the same room as the treadmill. I like looking at people though and find it motivating to be in a place where everyone is working out. Lately, I'm just jealous though. I see these people sweating and working hard and I am itching for it. I got in 2.5 miles in 30 minutes and had to take a break, come home and run more later. Side stitches were at it again. At home I got in 3.5 in 38 minutes. A better pace, a better mood after.

I realized I missed my 100th post. Darn. This one is 107. Happy 100th post, blog!

Happy December!! I like this month and the holidays. Normally I like it even more since I have a December birthday but this year I am turning 30 and not so thrilled. I like the 20s. I guess it will be fine.

I feel unmotivated this week. I haven't attempted to get up early to work out, a routine I was semi getting back into before Thanksgiving week hit. I did yoga yesterday with some elliptical, and the jog today. Yoga was interesting, the superpower instructor had surgery so there was a sub and it was not that intense. I'm not sore today. But yoga is getting weirder for me, and there are moves that I can't do comfortably. But still I missed the hardass instructor. I really want to work my butt off, sweat uncontrollably and feel super sore. I can't believe I still have 2 1/2 more months to go. I can't imagine getting much bigger (but I know it is going to be ridiculous) and I feel like I put on 5 pounds everyday, so I will continue to ask the baby to come early. Suggested date: January 31st. I don't really like February (no offense to the Feb babies).

Last, if you have a powersong or song that pumps you up, can you send it along! With motivating waning and feeling larger everyday, I need some pump me up music!

My top 5 songs right now:

Womanizer
4 minutes
See you again
Hot n Cold
So What

Um yea, I need some new songs.

  4. I give you so much credit for keeping it up despite your frustration! If I'm having a bad run and go home, I'm NOT going to start back up once I get home! You're doing awesome.

  7. I think the 20's are overrated. 30s aren't as bad as everyone makes them out to be. I am the happiest, healthiest and most confident I have ever been. You will be too :)

    Happy early birthday!!

Kara Goucher is amazing. Did you see her kick ass in NYC this year?

So, I love the "Tambourine" by Eve. It's not a new song by any means, but every time it comes on it makes me want to move. Any song that starts with "You gotta shake your ass" is a good running song.

  8. Being in your 30's is awesome. :) You won't be pregnant forever. I promise.

Try 'Hey I Love You' by Michael Franti. It's totally a feel good song. Sometimes I play it on my computer really loud and dance around the house singing it to Moana (only when we're alone!) HA!

  9. You should have seen the people at the gym staring at me when I was on the treadmill and 10 days past my due date. I was a giant freak show.

I love to run to that song "Soul but not a Soldier" that was on the Nike commercial.

  10. You seriously inspire me!! I think it's great that you still go out and "do"... whatever it is! That is so awesome. :-)

Dude, can I have Kara's body, too??

  11. How are the shoes? Kara Goucher is amazing and if I could have a stomach like that!

I am with you on hard workouts. I love the feeling of complete exhaustion due to hard work. Too bad we didn't live closer we could do some killer workouts while our husbands watched the kids!

You are doing great. Keep doing what you can.

  12. I agree with Laurel!! I'm not 30 yet (next year) but I SOOOOO can't wait! I'm ready to shed the 20's (not that they were a bad time for me, it's just that I want to be considered a "grown up" age now HAHA)

I agree with Viv "Just Dance" by Lady GaGa and I'm loving "Mannequin" by Brit (:-X)

  13. Womanizer was totally going to be my first suggestion!

Hang in there for the next couple months. It's got to be hard, but you'll be busting your butt again before you know it.

  15. Don't we all wish we had her body!!! From your bump pictures, I think you are looking great. Keep up the good work.

My powersong (though I hate to admit it) is Eminem's Lose Yourself. Although, I don't really like the language in the song, I do like the beat.

  16. Happy 107th and 30th. You haven't even hit your prime yet, kiddo. The best is yet to come.

  17. Have you heard Beyonce's song "Put a ring on it" that one is a lot of fun.

And seriously you have to be the cutest pregnant woman, I love the pics you posted!

  18. Oooh, you have a December birthday too?! What date? I love December and this time of year... Christmas and everything about it is my favorite. The snow, the lights, the decorations, the warm fuzzy feelings. Okay, I will stop now.

  19. I would highly recommend antenatal/pregnancy yoga. It's pretty tame, so it's not a proper workout. But there's loads of "moves" and techniques to help you during labour. I just need to remember them on the day. xx

  20. I don't think anyone in the northern hemisphere with a "real" winter likes February, even those born in that month. I think that's probably why it's the shortest month. Nice running, Happy Birthday, 30 is just a number, and take care!

  21. Happy 100th blog post. Keep it up, you are going to be so strong after you give birth, my friend ran through her pregancy and all of her time improved dramatically. And now, I have that "womanizer" song in my head, thanks alot! LOL
