it's better with 2!

before going in the oven

yummy cooked veggies!!

This was for dinner last night and the rest of the week... took a bunch of veggies (fennel, carrots, asparagus, broccoli, sweet potatoes, zucchini, eggplant) put them in a big pan with olive oil and garlic, some salt and pepper, and baked at 450 till they were tender. Then I added mushrooms that were cooked on top of the stove, and some tofu. YUM!!

Then I made these - Angela's recipe: DELICIOUS

2 non coconut for Bill!

Today my sister moved back home from DC. I am so happy! We went swimming and she is wayyy faster than me and I had to swim FAST to keep up! We were following the board workout, and changing it up a bit because it was so uncreative (10 100s, 10 75s, 10 50s, 10 25s - basically whatever she said: build, drill, kick, I was sprinting!), It was a good workout, it just shows how you can do so much better with a partner! My sister has light hair and blue eyes and looks more like Nick's mom than me!

It is the same w/ marriage, don't you agree? Bill rounds me out as a person and makes me that much better of a person by doing so. : )

  9. Yay sis! She's beautiful, and I can totally see the similarities. That's great she is closer now to spend time with Nick. AND to kick your butt in swimming, hehe. Keep up the great work! :)

  10. Having read your blog for awhile, it finally occurred to me that your husband looks a bit like a YOUNG (I stress YOUNG - as in before he was a bloated, depressed, road comedian...look at his book!) Artie Lange.

  11. My hubby totally rounds me out, in that he is more a "go with the flow" guy and tends to be very rational. I help him deal w/ people and be more in tune w/ him emotions. Plus, I make sure he eats healthily and exercises (some)!
