moving to Word Press?

I have done the bare minimum to switch my blog over to Word Press by importing my posts. I am going to try it out but I think very soon I will be making the full switch and leaving this blog in the dust! I have a few things to figure out first. If you have any tips on getting the hang of everything, please direct me!

Would you visit my site and post over there and leave a comment? I'm trying to get the hang of it :)  Is the only way to get fun fonts to purchase the custom fonts thing?
